Event-Trader Alpha reads news, listings, depegs, funding shifts and macro surprises in real time, scores them with an LLM-augmented research pipeline, and trades them through a single transparent HL Vault.
Every signal walks the same pipeline. Nothing reaches a live order book without surviving the prior stage.
News wires, exchange listing feeds, depeg monitors, on-chain flow, funding shifts, macro prints. Multi-source ingestion, dedup, normalised event schema.
Each event is scored by an LLM-augmented research pipeline for direction, magnitude, horizon and confidence. Sub-threshold events are dropped before sizing.
Strategies must clear backtest + paper-run + stability gates. No strategy goes live without statistically significant paper edge across closed trades.
Sized through the vault on Hyperliquid mainnet. Per-strategy circuit breakers, daily drawdown caps, and a global killswitch sit between every signal and the order.
The research fleet covers the full event surface — funding carry & calendar holds, discrete external catalysts, multi-domain confluence, regime transitions, cross-asset relative value, trend continuation, and single-asset mean reversion. Below: counts by archetype across all candidate strategies that have been written, with one example each. Each card lists the 8-category breakdown underneath the headline group.
Persistent yield and basis capture (CARRY: 5) plus time-anchored calendar plays such as weekend, expiry, and day-of-week patterns (CALENDAR: 5). Horizon-based exits.
External feed flags such as listings, depegs, hacks, FOMC (EVENT_EXTERNAL: 6); cross-domain confluence triggers (EVENT_CONFLUENCE: 0); and detected regime transitions like fear recovery or vol regime flip (REGIME_SHIFT: 2).
Dense-firing momentum and breakout structures (TREND: 5). Right-skewed PnL, trades with the move, trailing-stop or wide-target exits.
Single-asset extreme fades (MEAN_REVERSION: 24) plus pair-trade and ratio reversion across two or more assets (CROSS_ASSET_RV: 3).
The vault publishes its terms on-chain. These are the parameters set at deployment.
| Vault name | Event-Trader Alpha |
| Chain | Hyperliquid mainnet |
| Vault address | pending — published at deployment |
| Profit share | 10% of net profit to the leader. No management fee, no subscription, no volume kickback. |
| Lockup | 7 days from each deposit. After the lockup expires withdrawal is unconditional. |
| Minimum deposit | $100 USDC. Smaller deposits trade fine but get dwarfed by per-fill fees. |
| Custody | Non-custodial. Funds are held by the HL Vault contract; the leader has trade-only authority and cannot withdraw on your behalf. |
| Strategies live | 9 promoted (out of 13,502 candidates reviewed) |
| Risk caps | Daily drawdown cap auto-flatten at the vault level, per-strategy circuit breakers, per-symbol concentration limits, killswitch. |
| Reporting | Cumulative PnL, fill log and stage transitions are public. /public/paper shows the live paper book. |
Real money on Hyperliquid. Only strategies that cleared the paper gate trade here. Smaller curve than paper — fewer strategies, real fees, real slippage. This is what survives.
Every strategy. Including the failed ones. We don't drop them — the surviving ones aren't real signal without the losers in the denominator. This is the validation surface that decides which strategies graduate to the live chart above.
Crypto perps are a contact sport. Everything below is what we actually do — not what we'd like the page to say.
If something isn't here, drop it in the waitlist box and we'll answer it personally.
The Hyperliquid Vault contract does. HL Vaults are non-custodial — your USDC sits in the vault contract on Hyperliquid mainnet. The leader (us) has authority to place orders against vault collateral but cannot withdraw your funds. After the 7-day lockup expires, withdrawal is unconditional and routed by the contract, not by us.
The fleet trades on discrete catalysts and structural premia, not chart patterns. Concretely: exchange listing announcements, protocol hacks/exploits, depegs, mempool spikes, funding-rate divergences across venues, macro prints, on-chain flow, and similar.
Each event is scored by an LLM-augmented pipeline for direction, magnitude, horizon and confidence before any order is sized.
Generally 3–5×, capped per strategy. The vault inherits HL's standard initial- and maintenance-margin rules — we don't push the limits. Risk caps (daily drawdown, per-strategy and per-symbol) sit on top of HL's own margin engine.
No. The lockup is enforced by the vault contract itself — it's not a policy we can override. Each deposit's lockup clock runs independently from the moment it lands. After 7 days, withdrawal is open and immediate.
The vault pays Hyperliquid's standard taker/maker fees on each fill, exactly like any HL account. Beyond that: 10% of net realised profit goes to the leader. No management fee, no subscription, no fee on losing periods.
HL Vaults are first-class on Hyperliquid — non-custodial, on-chain, transparent depositor accounting. CEX "copy-trade" or "managed account" structures are custodial, opaque about fees, and pause withdrawals at their discretion. Hyperliquid keeps the deposit in a contract you can inspect and exit on a fixed schedule.
HL also has the depth to clear sub-second on the symbols we trade most.
Honest: live performance is TBD. Paper-trade results across the top promoted strategies have shown positive expected value after fees, but paper edges always shrink in live execution (slippage, missed fills, market impact).
Anyone who quotes you a target return is lying. We promise the process — paper-first promotion, public log, hard risk caps — not a number.
Yes. Trading crypto perps carries real risk including loss of principal. We cap daily drawdown and use a killswitch, but a single bad fill can still sting. Don't deposit money you can't afford to lose.
Solo dev with an LLM-augmented strategy generation stack. The moat isn't speed (we don't HFT) — it's reading and reasoning about events as they break, then routing through a paper-first promotion pipeline. Strategy code and risk thresholds are inspectable on request.
Vault is in private deployment. Drop your email and we'll ping you the moment deposits open.
